Place Farm Primary Academy is a popular, large primary school in Haverhill.  The school has over 400 fabulous children on roll and over 50 dedicated and committed staff.  As part of the Unity Schools Partnership we can offer vast opportunities to collaborate with colleagues and to enable professional development and career progression. 

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious and friendly Admin Assistant to fulfil a key role in our school.

Duties will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for visitors
  • Act as the school’s central communication point for students, parents, staff and other visitors
  • Control students signing in and out during school hours
  • Providing administrative back-up and support to the schools Administrative team.

Post: Learning Assistant

Salary: £15,375 per annum pro rata

Working Arrangements: 20 hours per week, 38 weeks per year; 9.15 am - 1.15pm, 5 days per week

We are a large, successful primary Academy in Haverhill, looking for two Learning Assistants to work alongside the class teacher(s) to give our Key Stage 1/2 pupils outstanding provision and make accelerated progress.

We can offer an exciting learning environment and a friendly and supportive staff.

You must:

  • have experience of working with children, preferably from the ages of 4 - 11
  • have an excellent command of the English language 
  • be able to compile written records, observations and assessments on key children according to school procedure 
  • be able to deliver specific support as necessary with individuals or small groups 
  • hold the relevant qualifications (see person specification)
